Research

UQ-Bio Research Program
Colorado State University, June 2024

In the UQ-Bio program, I applied my expertise in mathematics and computer science to analyze biological video data. Specifically, I processed 15 sets of cell videos, varying across three drug types at five different doses. Using Python, I developed algorithms to segment cellular components, including cells, nuclei, and proteins, and extracted quantitative data over time. I visualized the results through data-driven graphs using Matplotlib. Additionally, I implemented linear optimization techniques to determine the most cost-efficient drug and dosage combination based on provided pricing models.
